The rules for using this website and for working with Layerice, in plain terms.

By using the Layerice website or our services, you agree to these Terms of Use and to all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of them, do not use our services. These terms apply to everyone who visits the site or works with us.

Use the website and our services for lawful purposes only. Anything that could harm us, our clients or anyone else is not allowed, including unauthorized access, data scraping, spam, or distributing malicious content.

Everything on this website, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, design work and software, belongs to Layerice and is protected by Indonesian and international copyright and trademark law. Do not reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works from it without our written permission.

Work priced per project is paid 50% before it starts and 50% before handover. Monthly work, such as Development and Maintenance, is paid in full at the start of each month. If you stop within 7 days of paying for a month, 50% of that month is refunded. After 7 days, the month is not refundable. Monthly work can be cancelled at any time and ends with the current paid month. All prices are in USD, and a change to our prices never affects a project or a month already paid.

Once a project is paid in full, you own everything we made for it, the design and the code, with no limits. Work in progress and unpaid deliverables stay with Layerice until payment is complete. Layerice may show completed work in its portfolio unless we have signed a confidentiality agreement.

We may suspend or end our services at any time, for example for a breach of these terms, non-payment, or conduct that harms other clients or us. When that happens, your right to use the services ends immediately.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Layerice is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost profits, data or goodwill, that come from using or being unable to use our services, even if we were told such damage was possible.

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute under them falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Indonesia. If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest stays in effect.

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. When we do, the effective date at the top of this page changes, and for significant changes we may also let you know by email. Using our services after a change means you accept the new terms.
